Somebody was parked, halfway blocking our road. My aunt asked them to please move and they told her to fuck off.

Just called the cops again. Nothing else we can do about it. This is a problem every year, we live on a smaller river and the beach is full of people every summer.

A lot of them are there to drink. Make noise all night. By the end of the summer the beach is half broken beer bottles.

They were lined up today down to machias road. Not even summer yet. I stay away from there cause of the people.

Yeah, and a few parking on the bridge. Makes it hard for 2 large pickups or dump trucks to pass each other.

Or just stopping in the middle of the road looking for a spot to park holding up a line of cars.

Taxes.

You do know that almost everyone pays way more in interest on the mortgage, vs what they save on the mortgage credit right?

This is very true but hard for most people to grasp.
Other thing that most don't comprehend is that when they get a refund after filing their taxes they just gave the Fed's an interest free loan for the previous year. People thing they're getting "free money", not realizing that it's just their money to begin with.

Paying closer attention to the amount of deductions on a W-4 can fix that. Just put the extra buck that show up in the paycheck in the bank then spend it after you file your taxes.

glockgirl---- Don't worry, you can still take the property tax deduction and the way things are going it will soon exceed what anyone would pay in mortgage interest. When my house is paid off I'll still be paying as much in taxes as some pay for their mortgage alone.

While on the "what pisses you off" topic, Voters who live in rental properties who vote for every tax increase or levy proposed thinking that they won't have to pay it. So stupid they don't realize that it will just show up in their rent when the landlord gets the bill for what THEY voted in. Funny thing is, many landlords aren't able to vote on property tax increases or levies on property they own because they don't live in the same area as their property.

Maybe property taxes should only be voted on by PROPERTY OWNERS and they get a vote where the property is located, regardless of where they actually reside.

If she thinks France is so much better, next time she spouts off on? this just ask her WTF is she here? One thing certain, there are a lot more people trying to get into the US than into France. Even those escaping Africa and mid-East countries only pass through France on their way somewhere else.

When I lived in Europe I found that France was just perfect ------- for the French. It fit their arrogant attitudes.

Comcast is programmed to keep the cash flow. They will reduce it, believe me.

I'm going to give them a call. I've been very happy with my Comcast services so far. I am also paying for 50 mbps internet and getting 85 mbps, so that's a plus too.

Didn't have to, 'twas about a dui case, they wrote my ass off as soon as they learned that I was involved in LEO type work on the water, and did a fair amount of BWI type arrests.
