Was a bit overdue making my NRA Easy Pay Life membership payment. Given recent events, decided to make the equivalent of 3 installments at once in a single payment. Figure that our team could use the money for political action plus it feels good seeing my remaining balance go way down

I signed up right after Sandy Hook when they had the $300 sign up a buddy for life deal. Guy put his contact info on a gun site, thousands of people used that account until the the NRA pulled the plug.

That's a great deal for a life membership Mine is $500 total spread over $25 quarterly payments which is easy to manage even with my current alimony obligations. I seem to remember life membership was a $1000 before the recent discount deals.

Making the Wife's day. I bought her a Flawless AAA grade 3.82 Carat Trillion cut Tanzanite stone for Valentines day and we went to the Jewelers to have the Pendant setting CAD designed today. (I saved a LOT buying a GIA verified stone from the source instead of the Jewelry store, their markup is horrible) CAD Jewelry design is really cool and we were able to use diamonds from a ring she already had incorporated into the setting that she inherited from her late Mother too. (I saved more money, Win). I spent every Nickel from the Bonus i got from my Company and a little more too, but i got some huge Karma/Redemption/sorry i'm an insensitive dumbass points. That ought to get me through the next 6 months anyway.
Does your Wife/GF/Significant other like Tanzanite? I can save you the hours and hours i spent researching Tanzanite and reading reviews. You won't find stones like these in most Jewelry stores. http://www.lapigems.com/tanzanite.asp

For diamonds, the cheapest place is Costco. Max profit by store policy is 15% where at the usual retailer is 50-400+%. A lot of people buy graded 1+ carat diamond rings at Costco, scrap the band, and have the stone reset in something else.

I will keep that in mind if I am shopping for Diamonds. Nice to know they have a profit cap! Tanzanite is a whole different ball game than Diamonds though, they are 1000 times rarer and only come from one place in the world. Those mines are projected to go dry in about 10 years, with the AAA grade stones projected to dry up in about 7 years. Really amazing stones if you are into that sort of thing, worth the read on the website I posted above.

Nut job calling to say our 2nd A sale is "insensitive". I'm sorry, I didn't know that there would be a psycho killing people during a sale that is scheduled every year. Next year we will consult with all the nut jobs to make sure our sale doesn't interfere with their killing spree.
