It's chambered in the odd-ball .444 Marlin, but the cool thing, I think, is that the boolits are the same .429" diameter as the venerable .44 Rem. Mag. Now, I have an excuse to get into reloading so I can feed my Super Redhawk with some home-cooked lead pills. 444 is a fun round. You will like it. I have slugs that I load for the 44 and the 444. Much different powder choices tho. The 444 will be similar for powder choices as if you load for a 44 lever/carbine. If not, Id be interested in buying or trading you out of that Marlin.

New boots make my day! My back feels great! I finally found some boots tough enough that I could not wear them out. They still have lots of life (still waterproof and no split seams, and no exposed steeltoe) but I have worn the soles so crooked that my posture is suffering from it. They are cheap too, $90 Im hard on boots and very picky also. This is a major win. I got a year out of the first pair.
Standing up straight again today tho!

Have been going rounds with the IRS. They let me know that I had mis-recorded my estimated tax payments and was due a CREDIT of $220...
Then, the next day, ANOTHER letter from them says..."yeah... you have a credit balance of $220 BUT you owe us $695 because you can't afford health insurance. Pay up, sucka". (This after I gave them $2100 in April and $1000 just now for estimated taxes!)
Called the accountant and asked: "WTF? I thought I paid that penalty with the return?"
She said: "you DID. I'll send them a letter and clear this up."
So..tentatively...I took the IRS to the mat!

Someone gave me a couple of clear vacuum insulated plastic beer glasses. 'Tervis Tumbler' Damn, these things work really well! Half an hour later the outside is room temp and the beer is still really cold. https://www.tervis.com/Have a shit ton of various products, from wine glasses, baby cups, coffee cups, etc.

Move to China and spend 3-4 years at the Shaolin Monastery. Come back renewed.

Bought my first suppressor through Olympic Cerakote, one of the Spectre IIs. Put some money down on a S&W 34 (.22LR Kit Gun). Good gun day. Rimfires are the soup du jour.
