Neighbor called, asked me to bring his truck and dump trailer down the road a bit and help him load up a buzzed up maple tree that he took down for another neighbor. Fast forward a couple hours and I have well over a cord of fresh maple rounds in my yard waiting to be split, on top of the nearly two cords of free fir he gave me a month ago. All because ma gave him an old, two-man crosscut saw we've had in the garage forever. By the way, if anybody here uses firewood for fuel and anticipates being short on cash after this shutdown, I have dibs on the next couple cords of fir that show up in his yard, and access to a dump trailer.

My credit union is drive though only right now Dropped a check there this afternoon and the guy next to me was having a hard time talking through the mask he was wearing That’s my only bone to pick about this. I was in the pharmacy today and had to stay 6 feet away from the checker and she had a mask and I couldn’t understand what she was saying 90% of the time because. I rely partially on lip reading to help make my comprehension better. Sucks to be hearing challenged...

My 08 F350 PSD is fixed, my son-in-law replace the EGR valve that was stuck in the housing so he had to remove the housing. He took it to a friend of his that has a machine shop & Low and behold he was able to remove the offending device and by 9 PM this evening it was done. I owe him a crash course and ongoing knowledge swap in reloading with 2k .223 cases.

viewtopic.php?f=33&t=108386I saw that earlier. It was actually what made me bring it up to my neighbor. It appears that that person is getting fixed up, and my neighbor does not have any more wood (at least in any sizeable amount) sitting in his yard at the moment. That may change here in the next few weeks. Has a small alder coming down across the driveway from the maple I got today, and a big, gnarly fir a couple houses down from there. Probably another maple in the same patch of woods. The fir and maple are very green, but that alder is about ready to burn where it stands.

Year or more ago I was talking to a crew and said something that included "that fucking tranny" that got some alphabet supporter giving me a shitty look. Nothing more than complaining about a transmission issue. My kid here now blatantly says the "Caitlyn shifting device" or "The Caitlyn". I'm waiting for the day HR gets wind of his new definition...

Went to the Post Office to mail a pistol, wearing the pistol face mask. I’m required to inform them that it’s a firearm in the package. Funny looks were given. I raffed.
