She went to an urgent care, and they had her go to the ER as the labs said her liver was going to crap out. Lucky for her the blockage moved, but the hospital kept her over night and operated to remove it the next day. Just glad to have her back. Dealing with 4 kids and a mother-in-law is a handful. Mostly the MIL. It'll be life changing. Had mine out (bugging me for years, finally had the time and $$ to just get it done), and never realized how many years I had lived with this for no reason. She will feel better in a few days. When her shoulder pain comes, it's temporary, but man, it fucking hurts in quick spurts. Nothing you can do for it, just bear down and breathe through the cramp/tinge. Also, they are not kidding when they tell you to take it easy on lifting for a month. A few weeks after my surgery I was feeling 100%. Carrying some salt for the water softener and over did it. Those muscles take a bit to heal all the way.

My mom was in her early seventies when she had her GB removed. As soon as she got to her home she was up vacuuming the house as doing her chores like a champ. Tough bird. Never saw a grimace or heard a word about it.

HA.. No.. it's not. From what I was told, they fill your belly cavity with air, to help navigate the tools to where they need to go. This pain/pinch/zing is a byproduct of that.

Yes, you have Surgery down there end they will "pump you up".

Mostly the MIL. I wish her and your family well. I went thru it recently. My advice is to allow her to take some recovery time. The diseased GB, and the removal, were extremely painful. Pain was maximum. But after removal, recovery to function normally in about 3-5 days. Nothing too strenuous for whatever doctors orders.

A dozen or so knuckleheads at the Gym this morning donned Santa hats and went room to room singing Carols....

My step kids sent me this picture of them flying from London to Switzerland. That's Mick Mars lead guitarist and co-founder of the rock band Mötley Crüe. It made their day. (the boy plays a pretty mean guitar himself) Attachment: 80591970_634085883999637_6629853750242574336_n.jpg

Been biting my nails all week at work, not knowing if we'd have all the supply we would need to fill all the orders leading up to Christmas. But I got word today that not only did we barely squeak by for today, but our suppliers are going to come through in the clutch for us on Sunday & Monday (we asked a lot of them). Huge relief!
Now, on to stressing about the run up to New Year's Eve...

Spending some time with like minded people gathering signatures to repeal 1639 today, made my day.
