Kids age out, jump to the AHL or NHL and they start over with 15-16 year old prospects. I Love Junior Hockey, no pay for the Player's. They get scholarships from the WHL and a chance to make it to the Pro level. Their only motivation is play their Hearts out for that chance. Go T-Birds! I felt that way the other week when the Tbirds visited the Tips. Little different result in that the tips beat the Tbirds 7-2. However, was about the best game I had seen. Went to the early bird swap meet yesterday and picked up a nice used radiator for my 1926 Model TT one_ton truck. Only $60! They Go for $800 new!

Had the grandbaby for the weekend!!! Always nice to give my daughter and SIL a break.

Saw the oldest son when he and his fiance stopped by today.
5+ months empty nesters now, the little things, like kids stopping by, mean a lot. We, as parents, spend 1/3 of our lives raising kids...then all of a sudden, you lose your "primary job" and its sorta depressing. Got me a "new" to me cruise ship
06 Lexus LS430, only 73K on it, nice and clean. and oh-so-smooth  needs a couple of small things (electrical/switches) fixed but other than that it's good to go and did i mention that it's smooth?  i snuck in sportsdad's backyard and took a pic  |

I've had a LS400 before and SC300 before that, i know what their issues are. I will take it to Les Schawab for a full inspection soon, it's probably due for shock replacement at this mileage (maybe not, i want coilovers to drop it a little bit, lol) |
