It was a fun game to attend. That's how Junior Hockey goes though, we won the Division and the WHL Championship 2016-2017, and now we are in last place. Kids age out, jump to the AHL or NHL and they start over with 15-16 year old prospects. I Love Junior Hockey, no pay for the Player's. They get scholarships from the WHL and a chance to make it to the Pro level. Their only motivation is play their Hearts out for that chance. Go T-Birds! I felt that way the other week when the Tbirds visited the Tips. Little different result in that the tips beat the Tbirds 7-2. However, was about the best game I had seen. Fun watching "kids" skate their asses off.

Had the grandbaby for the weekend!!! Always nice to give my daughter and SIL a break. Finished the trim & painting in the reloading/gun room, time to get the wall lockers moved in the tackle the10' bench & cabinets.

Saw the oldest son when he and his fiance stopped by today. 5+ months empty nesters now, the little things, like kids stopping by, mean a lot.
We, as parents, spend 1/3 of our lives raising kids...then all of a sudden, you lose your "primary job" and its sorta depressing. Thus, seeing them brings you up a notch.

You can have my kids any time you want them! I can only dream about the day I’m an empty nester. I just worry it will never happen and they’ll be at home forever! Seriously, though, good on you. It sounds like you raised some fine offspring. I hope mine turn out as well.

How they actually turn out is 90% based on their decisions at some point in their lives no matter the nurturing we enforce. We are feeling blessed considering one of the two rode that grey area in High School.

2 things from yesterday. Got to meet, and hangout with a couple other WaGunners for a few hours. LC is a top notch gentlemen.
Also picked up an opportunity for a side-gig which puts me another step towards earning my way out of my current predicament.

Looking like paying someone to kick your ass will net you a possible 3 year prison sentence.... And a fine. And this..... RockHopper wrote: 2 things from yesterday. Got to meet, and hangout with a couple other WaGunners for a few hours. LC is a top notch gentlemen.

I've had a LS400 before and SC300 before that, i know what their issues are. I will take it to Les Schawab for a full inspection soon, it's probably due for shock replacement at this mileage (maybe not, i want coilovers to drop it a little bit, lol)
