My wife says I love the dog more than her
I told her that might be different if she rolled over and spread her legs for me as much as the dog does

Headed home from the Narrows Airport tonight. At the first overpass on the Gig Harbor side, there was a fair number of people waving the American Flag, AND the Gadsen flag. Warmed my heart some.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Here's another one from flip side of the coin: Q: How do you tell who loves you more, the wife or the dog? A: Lock them both in the trunk of your car for ten minutes, when you let them out, you'll find out for sure

Having a beer (Weihenstephaner Hefeweizen) and listening to Mozart (Duettino Sull'aria from Le Nozze di Figaro). Reminds me that in spite of all the bullshit we go through in life, that there is always beauty in life as well

And then I slam back to reality, and I think I’m even angrier that we are under constant attack, and I feel like I’m not allowed to truly enjoy life. Sorry ... wrong thread, I know.

I hear you brother. When it comes to gun rights we are under constant attack, even in red states there are a lot of folks that are anti-gun. Whoever thought that someone like Beto O'Rourke would be so competitive in a state like Texas. Times like these in the run up to the midterms it's really good just to cast our individual vote then tune out the TV and get back to the simpler things in life. Not everything is defined by political conflict and for sure a lot of this stuff is beyond our control, we just do our own individual part.

Kinda how I feel about camping. The idea is to get away from everything. 'Back to nature'... Simple... Relax. Leave your mobile office at home..

So despite the current election vote outcome, my wife just handed me a bunch of cash to buy a gun for my birthday. Should I get another pistol, or perhaps another lower?
I would like to buy another optic, but given the new bill perhaps I need to go that route before having to be bent over a rail to buy a gun in this state.

Buy stuff that is going to be a pain in the ass to buy later (soon) - aka semi-autos. Get just the serialized frames, for that matter; it'll stretch out your money and you can buy the finishing touches later.

My wife, whom can't vote, (non-US resident), wanted to see the the result this morning. She is not happy. She is also on-board for moving out of state.
