This is more what made my day last Sunday  Took the extended family to the Fort Worth Alliance field air show. Great decision as it turned out to be the second best airshow I've ever been to (and I've been to a lot of them).

USN Blue Angels
USAF F-16 Demo Team performance
USAF F-22 Demo Team performance
USAF F-35 Joint Strike Fighter performance
US Army parachute team
Various other aerobatic performers

All in all an amazing show. Highly recommend to anyone who gets a chance to see the USAF F-22 or F-35 Demo Team performances. I thought the 4th generation F-15, F-16, and F/A-18 aircraft were loud. The 5th generation fighters take The Sound of Freedom to a whole new level. It's amazing just how loud these aircraft are on full afterburner. The maneuverability of the F-22 is nothing short of incredible with vectored thrust. Very impressive.

As a bonus, the grandson got to sit in the cockpit of an F-16 and talk with the pilot about the flight controls and aircraft characteristics. Cool stuff. Plus everyone got a chance to sit in the cockpit and boom operator positions of a KC-135 from McConnell AFB in Kansas.

Looking forward next spring to head up to Abilene, TX for air show at Dyess AFB where one of our nation's B-1B bomber wings is based. Should be another great show.

As a side bonus, we drove by chance past the Texas Motor Speedway on the way to the air show. Looking forward to attending some NASCAR races there next November once alimony is done. Also found a sprint car dirt track in Waco, TX (90 minute drive) so looking forward to going to some sprint car races in the new year once the racing season starts back up.

Hi Traut and SD hope all is well with y'all. Yes it was an amazing day. Our grandson William went to his first air show last year at Joint Base San Antonio where the USAF Thunderbirds performed a low show due to cloud cover. So it was his second air show and much better this time due to clear, sunny skies.

Our other grandkids it was all their first air show ever. Shane was amazed at the F-16 Demo as he had never seen or heard a fighter jet on afterburner up close before. The grin on his face was priceless.

Eventually we'll make it to the Reno Air Races so William can see full-on air racing. Haven't been since the early 90's and miss the collective sound of souped up P-51's going at it full throttle. Plus we can go rock climbing in Truckee afterwards as an added bonus

The freak-show Demorat representative from CA resigned in disgrace. I LOVE seeing Demorats fall hard. Too bad she didn't break anything.

Yep. And her comments? (paraphrasing) "My husband 'weaponised' my private photos".

Huh.... :ROFLMAO:

Quote:
Katie Hill, 32, has been seen in a series of shocking photographs obtained exclusively by DailyMail.com
Hill was pictured kissing and brushing her young female staffer's hair, who DailyMail.com can identify as Morgan Desjardins from Santa Clarita, California
The then 22-year-old began a throuple relationship with Hill and her husband Kenny Heslep shortly after she started working for Hill in 2017
Texts and photos between Hill, Heslep and Desjardins reveal their throuple was steamy at first, but ended with Hill leaving them 'high and dry'
The congresswoman was also seen posing naked while smoking a bong on 9/11 in 2017, as a tattoo of a Nazi-era Iron Cross on her bikini line is on full display
The tattoo could open the congresswoman to accusations of hypocrisy, after she criticized racist Facebook posts that included a similar-looking cross
Sources revealed Hill and Heslep also posted Hill's naked photos online in 2016 under a thread called 'WouldYouF**kMyWife' and 'wifesharing'

It still looks the same as the pics in my DIY thread.

I'll get some pics of things like the master cylinder and vacuum booster. But I don't really think pics can tell the story. LOL

A LOT of work was done on it.
