Shhh dont tell people. Its still relatively easy to get drawn. A few more years and it might not be. I think the 4 years I've put in, I've got drawn 3. Last year was the first year they even had more entrants than tags, I believe.

Why would you pay 3-4x the cost of a regular tag when you can't bag more than one animal? Kind of runs the economics of hunting...

Son got his learners permit today.
And it doesn't ding my insurance until he actually gets his drivers license.

Been dukeing it out with Kink County Vehicle Licensing over $22 since November. I think I gave up last month. Today my check for $22 arrived.

Check is from "Finance and Business Operations Division Department of Executive Services."

I feel special.

With how efficient the gubmint is, they probably spent $2,200 in labor processing your claim.
Likely had 26 people working on it.

That's why it didn't take very long.

When I was a consultant for a large police department they had a problem with scan rates on a Bell and Howell Dynascan that could read the barcodes on infractions maybe 40% of the time. Thing had a feed roller the size of a hand truck tire. Think it was 120 pages per minute.
Their IT department couldn't figure it out so the Chief asked me to look into it.

My first question was "Where the fuck did you get these tickets from???"

Turns out they ordered a couple pallets of ticket books from China at a discounted price.
Not in spec. Contrast was off and the barcodes were fuzzy.

So instead of ordering new ones, they hired several more people to manually enter the numbers of the ones that wouldn't scan.

Probably cost them at least a half $Million in salary and benefits until they ran out and ordered new ones.
More even, as they most likely promoted them to another useless job.

One reason would be for the guy who only gets a sporadic weekend or part of a weekend to hunt. A multi season give you the time to hunt from August-December.

Get her signed up for the Donahue Show. He'll have all the baby's daddies DNA tested.

Donahue?! He hasn't been on TV since the eighties, Chuck!

Mory Povich is the guy.

Ya, Maurie is the DNA test guy.
One gal was on there 10-12 times trying to find out her baby daddy was.
Finally asked the audience 'Does anyone know who my babies daddy is?'

Reminds me of a joke.
"Mom, why am I black?"
Mother says "Son, after that party we had I'm surprised you don't bark"

I'm going to pier 90 1st. Need to offload which will take about 20+ hrs then put the crew done for 6-7 hrs clean the freezer holds. Should be going through the locks either late Tuesday or early Wednesday. We're putting the boat way up in the lake,I've never been that far into the lake.
