Why would you pay 3-4x the cost of a regular tag when you can't bag more than one animal? Kind of runs the economics of hunting...

Been dukeing it out with Kink County Vehicle Licensing over $22 since November. I think I gave up last month. Today my check for $22 arrived.
Check is from "Finance and Business Operations Division Department of Executive Services."
I feel special.

I feel special. With how efficient the gubmint is, they probably spent $2,200 in labor processing your claim. Likely had 26 people working on it.

When I was a consultant for a large police department they had a problem with scan rates on a Bell and Howell Dynascan that could read the barcodes on infractions maybe 40% of the time. Thing had a feed roller the size of a hand truck tire. Think it was 120 pages per minute. Their IT department couldn't figure it out so the Chief asked me to look into it.
My first question was "Where the fuck did you get these tickets from???"
Turns out they ordered a couple pallets of ticket books from China at a discounted price. Not in spec. Contrast was off and the barcodes were fuzzy.
So instead of ordering new ones, they hired several more people to manually enter the numbers of the ones that wouldn't scan.
Probably cost them at least a half $Million in salary and benefits until they ran out and ordered new ones. More even, as they most likely promoted them to another useless job.

One reason would be for the guy who only gets a sporadic weekend or part of a weekend to hunt. A multi season give you the time to hunt from August-December.

Finally asked the audience 'Does anyone know who my babies daddy is?' Reminds me of a joke. "Mom, why am I black?" Mother says "Son, after that party we had I'm surprised you don't bark"
