Now it can figure out how the straps work ...

Odd, no markings but a faded mudflap. One end of the strap hooks into the eye bolt on the dolly. The saddle/pocket portion of the strap goes over the tire, then the tail of the strap is fed into a ratchet strap/head head assembly and hooked to the solid horizontal round stock that you just drover the tire over! then winch the strap down tight. If the ratchet heads are missing, you can just purchase two same size ratchet straps and use your straps/pockets in the new head assembly. Unless yours has the ratchet heads mounted solid on the front of the dolly, then it would tie down the opposite of above.

And Barmon lumber in Sultan has ratchet straps even bigger than that for sale for either ten or twenty bucks. Can't remember which. I used one to raise a one ton wall, while building the building I am in.

I chose Brads because he releases after 10 business days. It's about 20 miles further than my Local shop but i prefer to do business with a shop that will follow the Law. I'm sure i will buy something else while i am there on both visits, so it's a win win for him.

Odd, no markings but a faded mudflap. Congrats.. I don't know if its common knowledge but when using a dolly with a front wheel drive car the transmission should be in neutral. My friend left his automatic transmission in Park. Due to the surging movement from accelerating and stopping the internal parking pawl was damaged requiring a transmission removal and repair. When towing my boat I have a safety chain from the boat bow eye to the trailer wench mount. I would probably consider one for the undercarriage to the tow dolly if I were to use a car dolly but that's just me. JB

I've been getting more annoyed over the last month and a half that I've been hearing a squeak from my furnace blower motor every time its running.... kinda figured a bearing was going out and trying to figure out what to due about it. Last night, after a few beers, I decided to climb up on the back of my sofa (it took 3 tries) to reach the cold air return vent thinking that 'maybe/hopefully' it was the vent that was causing the noise..... All it took was to push lightly on the grate until I heard a couple of 'creaks' from the frame and all the squeaking was gone!!! I've had to clean the grate to get rid of dust/cat hair that would cause a whistling in the past, but the grate was clean as could be --- the excess stress in the grate from not being moved in 5+(?) years was enough to get a few of the fins vibrating to sound like a squeak when the blower was running. Gotta love simple fixes!!!

Of the ten voices I hear in my head, only three keep telling me NOT to shoot.... Do I go with the majority or common sense?
