Met a fellow member today at the pit but with the mask on I was having a hard time communicating but the group he was with cleaned the round pit!!!

Yes, for preserving quality,they need to be heavily iced, in preparation for the long journey north. If they are not iced properly,they may spoil and have to be fed to the bears. |
