Spent some quality time at the Machias range sunday morning. A lot more shooters than I am used to but a solid group of people. Some members I recognize and many first time members, but everyone was having a good time shooting.

If Kyle was involved, I'm not surprised it worked out. Hearing he comes from good stock, is even less of a surprise. Glad it worked out Will have to search my pea brain for something else to give Kyle grief about Well, there is always his penis size.

I spent 11 days in San Diego, away from the YL. It's real shame that such a beautiful state is in such horrible condition with gun laws and other aspects I don't agree with.
What made my day? Coming home to the YL!

I gave a sample of my homemade kimchi to a coworker that has a very traditional Korean wife (the type that almost flies to Korea to get her chile flakes) to get an opinion. I was a bit nervous to ask him today for the results............. "A GUY at work made this?"

She had recently moved from Seattle to Mukilteo and has a lot of gun owning neighbors... and instead of freaking out, was super curious.
Had her over to my place for a safety briefing- had my “scary black rifle” and a few pistols on the table and instead of recoiling in horror, she was like “whoa, what’s that? Looks really awesome”.
Eased her in with shooting a .22 pistol, and had her shoot my g17 with my low recoil reloads.
Before the shooting session ended, I had her shoot my suppressed G17 and her eyes lit up like a Christmas tree.
So, she’s now hooked, looking forward to shooting and asking me if it’s ok to bring kids to the range (she has a 10 year old who has classmates who shoot/parents shoot and is asking a lot of questions). Says that the parents in Seattle vs Lynnwood are completely different (highly PC vs blunt/straightforward)... even the teachers.
I made it a point to share with her the importance of educating kids on gun safety, especially with play dates and what not.
So, I got a new person on our team and a potential young ‘un on the way to understanding more about gun safety/personal responsibility.
This is a huge win for me as I’ve regrettably had to cut loose long term friends who have jumped on the “no civilian should own assault rifles” bandwagon after the Florida shooting, and by association, have made me out to be the devil or some shit like that. Great job! THIS is how we win. Educate, get more gun owners, and get them voting, and their legacy of gun owners. 1 family at a time.

Bought a like mint 2003 Harley, clock didn't work. Took it off, looked up the manufacturer. Website said due to chinese competition he didn't do that anymore. But for $5 he would fix it, including return shipping. Didn't know how old the link was...............called him up. Owner answered, at 7:30 PM his time. Works out of his house. Spent 15 minutes telling me about what his product, my problem, and how he would like to make good on something he sold 13 years ago! Doesn't get any better than this!!!!!!!! I'm amazed!!!! Edit: Pic
