Apparently, she signed up to be part of a pilot program monitoring for the 'pay-by-the mile' program the state wants to institute because, while they pushed for cars to have better gas mileage, they didn't really realize that it would mean less gas tax revenue
So, going into this, the producer knew they are doing this to raise more money 'cause, well, it's not bringing in as much as they're used to spending, so they want more money...
After using it for awhile, they're in her car with a camera as she's done driving, and she looks at the monitoring device and says,
" Wow, I didn't know doing it this way would cost me more money!" LOL!!!
What a dumbass, that's the whole point.
The mileage covered under the gas tax would have cost her $7+, and under the new pay by mile tracker, it would be $11+

Ex-justice Shitheel Stephens dissents in Heller and contends that the 2A doesn't mean what it plainly says and does not protect an individual right to keep and wield boom booms. Said shitheel rails against the 2A and says the little adolescent fuckbags-against-civil-rights should seek a longer lasting solution than legislative reform; they should seek the repeal of the 2A. Why does he suggest this? Hilariously, because the 2A protects the right of individuals to own boom booms.
In other words Stephens just demonstrated to the world that despite what he contends the 2A really does mean what it says, and its likely even he knows that is true, despite his contorted legal opinions to the contrary.
SO RETIRED JUSTICE JOHN PAUL STEVENS WANTS TO REPEAL THE SECOND AMENDENT. A few thoughts:
1. Calls to repeal the Second Amendment are, despite whatever gyrations the callers go through, tacit admissions that the Second Amendment bars sweeping gun control.
2. Good luck with that, we’re more likely to see an amendment banning abortion pass than one repealing the Second Amendment.
3. The Second Amendment, according to the Framers (and some Supreme Court dictum) recognizes a natural right; repealing the amendment doesn’t extinguish the right.
4. Nothing could be better for the GOP in 2018 and 2020 races than for the Dems to make this an issue.
Hey now, putting more than one thought together to come up with a cohesive argument is heresy. Stop it...

Cold is the absence of heat. There comes a point where you can't have any less heat, absolute zero. Virtually unlimited energy can be used to produce virtually unlimited heat. The more energy, the hotter it gets.
I see stupidity/ignorance and intelligence the same way. At a certain point, you just can't get any smarter..for example, theoretical physicists wrapping their heads around the most intricate details of the universe...
On the other hand, there is no limit that can be put on stupidity/ignorance. Almost infinite energy can be put into almost infinite stupidity/ignorance.

Picked up a 1 litre bottle of Oban Little Bay small cask single malt yesterday in the duty free shop at the Toronto airport. Spendy but having the exchange rate helped.

-Dad's retirement party is tomorrow so I'm taking a 3 day weekend
-Wife is making Bulgogi for dinner (one of my favorite Korean dishes)
-About to pour a whiskey
-Kid is happy and playing without screaming
-Installed about 350 square feet of flooring today at $4 per square for labor making it a $1400 8 hour day that really wasn't too rough
Life is good.
Congratulations to your dad. Love Bulgogi On the rocks or straight up? $1400 could buy you a new gun(s)
That about covers it....:)
Thanks brother! On the rocks, enjoy the flavor of the whiskey so letting the ice melt in a little just prolongs the enjoyment for me. That money is on the books (wife knows about it). However I have a $4k job coming up in a couple weeks that Uncle Sam and the IRS (and my wife) may or may not know about. See you in Puyallup late April?
