It used to be $2.99 for the grand slam. 2 eggs, 2 sausage links, 2 pancakes, and 2 pieces of bacon. Seems like they added a buck every couple years. When people complained about their 3$ meal costing $6, they made it a 'pick your own, choose 4' and it's dam near 7$....

Surprise! Shit costs money.... You have to lease the building... You have salaries & benefits to pay... You have insurance & L& I to pay... You have to pay for the food, and the freezers & walk-ins to store it, which also require maintenance... Hood fans that need weekly cleaning by a service... You have HUGE electric & gas bills going up & up, just like everyone else... And it's $5.99... Seems like a helluva deal to me.

I went off Guntrader's $5.99 Super Slam, which is also what you replied to.
The last time a Grand Slam was $2.99, according to Google, was for Black Friday back in 2010.
The fact that you're still not over the price increase surprises no one.
Maybe start a business & understand.
You can't even go to a store & buy the ingredients for $2.99

$9.79 is for the 'build your own Slam' And it doesn't even come with hash browns. If you order it as a Super Slam it's $5.99

You can't even go to a store & buy the ingredients for $2.99 You DO realize I'm at that age where I reserve the right to say 'back in my day' right? I still remember when gas was 89 cents a gallon, and parenting was 'here's a nickel, call me if anything happens or you need to be picked up, be back before the street lighta are on' and you knew every road, street, and alleyway in your town by the time you were 12... And once you used the 5 cents on bubble gum, you'd make a collect call home.. 'you have a collect call from flower and houston, do you accept the charges?'...'No' . .and your mom knew you rode your bike too far to get home before dark and knew exactly where to pick you up... I remember when a dollar menu was expensive.. Mcdonalds hamburgers were 39 cents and cheeseburgers were 49 cents.. So... GET OFF MY LAWN! (and I'm still right, no one said inflation doesn't occur)

Quote: You can't even go to a store & buy the ingredients for $2.99 Frim walmart. Com Dozen eggs = $1.28 Sausages = $2.98 for 14 Bisquick = $2.28 for 14 pancakes 1 lb bacon =$2. 98 So.. That equals $9.52 The limit here is the eggs, so 6 slams.. And food left over for the cook... $9.52 /6 = $1.58 per Slam... And that's at full retail pricing.. Not taking into account the discounts ordering in bulk. Yes, I know that is just supply cost, but I have proven you wrong once again. Lol You absolutely can feed someone 2 eggs, 2 sausage links, 2 pancakes, and 2 pieces of bacon, for less than $2.99 each. It's almost half that...
