My Daughter brought her new boyfriend over to meet the “Rents” (that what the cool kids have nicknamed us) so I thought I would have fun with him (at his expense of course) first I printed this out:

An Application to Date my Daughter, which is pretty epic.

http://www.kreativead.com/uploads/1/6/2 ... ughter.pdf

While he was filling it out It got a little breezy so I laid out a “real” pair of Brass knuckles ,as a paper weight of course, an NO I DO NOT CARRY THEM!!!!

Then when he got to the portion of fingerprints I pulled out the pen that Delliot made me which is a Bullet.

And finally as an added bonus I asked him if I could have a blood sample (for geneology reasons) he didnt know what to say and he said “sure” so I pulled out a Spyderco Police (no I didnt pull it on him) and I thought he was gonna jump out of his chair....lol

I just hope the little fella is ok

I took a simpler approach. I just made sure all the boys knew I could and would kick their ass

Thank GOD I didn't have girls. I am so protective.

If I had girls, I would make sure this contraption was on the table when boys came a-knocking.

Popped into the Grocery Outlet yesterday on my beer run to see if there where any deals.... scored some Oscar Meyer turkey for $1 a # pak --- cool, sammich meat for the upcoming heat wave :thumbsup2: Sweet!

Was going thru the checkout line and started chatting with the dude behind me --- commented on the turkey being a good deal --- saw he had his cart loaded up with turkey and Johnsonville brats.... he said they were $2 a pak !!!! I went back and grabbed 2.... checking out, the chick rang it up and told me that they are $2 each --- and BOGO!!!!! $1 a pak for Johnsonville beer brats! :thumbsup2: :thumbsup2: :thumbsup2:
I went back and grabbed 2 more --- tapped out the cash in my wallet. Thinking about going back for more, but my freezer is already packed to the gills....

And yes.... they were 2 days from going out of date --- the brats were still frozen, so I have no issues at all.....

I wont buy meat from Grocery Outlet.
I think some of that stuff is either old, refrozen, or not stored properly.
Not sure where they get the 'hand me down shit' from.
Wife's daughter bought some hot links, but didn't like them.
Tried one, day later thought I was going to die from the vomiting, diarrhea, and stomach cramps.
Could hear my stomach groaning from the next room.
Sick for a week.

Try Winco

I've never run into a problem there.... that said, there are things I will steer clear of. At that price, its worth rolling the dice.
Besides... no close (enuff) Winco to me...

The only game in town: Walmart. No WINCO, Kroger, Safeway, Albertson, Grocery Outlet, or even a Piggly Wiggly.
Expiration dates are a marketing scam. I love it when they get to their expiration date, and get marked down.
Some of the most expensive restaurants dry age their meats for weeks.

We buy selected stuff from Grocery Outlet. Never had a problem. I do admit to making quiet snobby comments to the wife. Never poking fun at others. Just stuff like needing to check the Fidelity account or being the high net worth people in the joint.

Magazine subscriptions :thumbsup2:

So my Hot Rod magazine ran out in february....I didnt re-up my subscription.

First subscribe now was like 47 bucks for 2 years

Then they went for a lower price for three year.

The next couple offers were even lower

Today/yesterday I get a letter....3 years for $20 and a free watch. 92% off news stand price.

Should I hold out for 3 years, a watch and a pocket knife for 15?

Its actually quite surprising how many newer BMWs, Mercedes and the like are in the parking lot there.... usually see them scoring the cheap wine, but walking out with lots more.
You definitely see the other side too.....

I scored a bunch of the nitro dispensed Guinness stout a few years ago for really really cheap. Nothing about it was old or suspicious. 6 cases as I recall. Went back the following week and all gone. I milked it for well over a year. Never went south.

I buy ALL my meat at grocery outlet. Cheese too.

Used to get sick sometimes. Learned the most important lesson.

Only ever buy the packaged stuff. Like vacuum packed, and sealed tight.

If the packaging feels even the least bit loose... Toss it and find another.

Follow this rule, and even past the date stuff, always seems to be ok.

I don't know how you find time to read a magazine anymore. I do subscribe to Motor Trend on demand so I get all the good shows. Watched the engine masters guys make 1500 HP on a stock bottom end 6.0 LS motor last night.
