Amazing. After the reprieve we were kind of granted last year from the former speaker no such help from the speaker's podium will be forth-coming this year. So important. So much apathy and defeatism.

Yeah...and many of us do way more than you know, and don't broadcast everything we do on the Internet, nor feel the need to justify ourselves to someone...

I'm not minimizing anybodies efforts. it was a shit show thread, that was continuing down a path of being locked anyhow. Figured if people really wanted it to stay open, they could do something to make that happen. All it showed me was that the thread wasn't that important. It was never a matter of justification.

I'm glad that people are still emailing, calling, knocking on doors etc.

Heard this morning that Marriage is like a card game.

Starts with two hearts and a diamond and by the time the hand is over you're looking for a club and a spade.
