Broken equipment. I never thought that would make my day!

I cant really afford the lost time right now, but its raining so hard/wet right now that when the control handle broke off the mill today, I was more than happy to go in the shop where it was dry and fire up the (warm) welder for a bit!

2nd to the last hike on Wild Horse Island made my day. Next week will probably be the last 68 deg week before shit gets cold and we wrap up the boat for the season.

Only the 3rd time this year we have seen the last 5 horses that exsist on the island. This island was used by Indians to stash there money (horses) back when they were beating the shit out of each, long before white settlers came West.

How did native peoples get their horses to the island? Who owns the horses now? They must be old (OK that was a joke)

They walked them. Can't do that anymore because global warming raised the sea level.

Too bad it hasn't swamped Seattle yet.

New scope came in. Can't wait to get it all set up and take it for a test spin. Kind of thinking I need to take my old Leupold scopes in and have them refurbished.

Got a refund on my escrow account of $1400, and my mortgage payment is now $200 less per month.

The problem with being on social media, is that you know too many people that you don't know.

Joy is not a feeling. It is a strength. Some people are stupid, that's all there is to it. (And sometimes that stupid person is me/you.) Sometimes you just have to let stupid people be stupid. Don't let stupid steal your joy.

Holding onto unforgiveness and resentment is like drinking poison and expecting that other person to die. Anger will eat you up.

Freedom without responsibility is chaos.

Why, does it bring back fond memories and make you depressed?

Nope, that's just what the doc told me to worry about though. So I guess I'm good to go. :thumbsup2:
