Totally different from my first divorce.
Asks what you want. discourages from any unnecessary expenses, motions, etc, , doesn't deal with all the paper unless necessary, scans everything.
Got me exactly what I wanted for a fraction of what I expected to pay.

Need a great divorce attorney in Everett, PM me.

A lawyer who keeps costs down and gives back money; that's a new one on me!

Pictures of wife. Please. What possibly could have driven a lawyer to do that?

Not today, but yesterday...

Went to a gun shop in Spokane..

Got to school the ass't manager (I think it was) on AK trunnions, and they loved my AK build.

They showed me a really sweet 9mm SBR build with an HK style retractable stock (sig MPX), and let me know that they just approved the retractable pistol brace.... woot!

Good going!

I can actually relate a bit to this. My uncle's estate. In the case of one property in CA, my bro wants to buy my half (fine he has the cash) - but it's dragging out - and yes I have to pay half the property tax. And it's not in a "rental area", so the (large) house is not income producing if you know what I mean.

Oh so today I put the last coat on the bar/sammich table!

Yea, at least my property was cash flow positive and actually made the estate $$ while going through the motions. We sold the other assets (car, house) in pretty quick fashion in early 15'.

Tell your brother to step up the game. If he's paying all cash then it should be a quick closing period.

Brandan turned 7 today! We went up Sultan Basin to try out his new Crickett! There ARE still shooting spots up there if you know where to look.

After a brief safety briefing, I showed him how to load and cock it, and the proper way to hold it. He got the hang of it really quickly.

Image

He's still just sliiightly too small to have a proper grip on it. His hands need to grow a little. But of the ~20 rounds he fired, most of them hit the box we were aiming at, and several actually hit the target sticker.

Image

Overall, he loved it, and can't wait to go out again.

Afterwards we went to Vick's Burger Shack for lunch. Best damn burgers...

Nice. But three observations:
Keep the muzzle out of the dirt...
Eyes?
Ears?

The Crickett should have come with a little shooters kit with goggles and foam ear plugs.

He has ear plugs in, they might not be visible in the pictures. The Crickett is surprisingly loud (short barrel).

We're working on keeping the muzzle out of the dirt, but as long as it's downrange and/or at the ground, I'll take it at this point. As I said, he's still just slightly too small for it, so it's hard for him to hold the weight of it with one hand while inserting the round.
