First thing...
18$ bottle of alcohol has security device attached to cap. 24$ bottle of alcohol does not.
1.Grab 18$ bottle of alcohol. Take it to checkout/register. Get bored waiting in line.
2.inspect security device, then realize it attached to the cap and not the neck.
3.unscrew cap, observe security device go with cap.
4. Retrieve cap from security device.
5. Screw cap back onto now free bottle.
6. Hand security device to cashier, advising her that you don't need it.
7.watch as she gets confused and states 'I don't think it's supposed to work like that'.
8. Watch everyone else look at you like you're a magician.
9.Try not to laugh.

TechnoWeenie wrote:Went to SAA to pick up some ammo..... They're the only local retailer with 154gr sp in stock... sucks but.. market and all that...
I go in, and see 154gr SPs marked as 29.99/100.... and some marked 32.99 per 100..... weird.... I call a guy over and ask why it as, then he points out that they priced them wrong..
We get into a polite discussion about honoring prices even though the wrong price is on there and he apologizes and has someone remove them from the shelf.![]()
OK, kind've a dick move, considering it's 3$ but whatever.... I notice they have 20 rd boxes for $5.99
So.... 5 x 20 = 100, 6 x 5 = 30..So, $30/100 if I buy in 20 rd boxes instead of $32.99/100 in the 100 pack. Makes ZERO sense but, whatever... I can still get the $30/100rd price by buying the 20 rd packs..
There's only 10 boxes... and I wanted to buy at least 300 rds....
He goes and finds the wrong box, then pretty much bails out...![]()

I find him, wait patiently as he's talking with another customer, and point out the CORRECT case that he needs to open...
I decide to just take a sleeve of 500.....
I take it up to the counter, and the guy cuts open the sleeve.. completely ruining the ease of packing/carrying...![]()

At this point I'm just like 'meh, whatever' to myself, in my head.... and then I hear him... '2...4...6....1...2....3....4.'... and I'm thinking to myself... 'WTF is this guy doing'?
I pay , GTFO, and get home.
Curiosity gets the better of me when I get home, and I look at my receipt to make sure he charged me correctly...
I find out what he was doing when he was saying '...2....4...6...1...2...3...4'..... He charged me for only 24 boxes.... He counted six boxes across and 4 up, not realizing that the top row has an extra box to make it 25 boxes of 20 = 500.
What kind of people are they hiring that they don't know that a sleeve of 7.62x39 is 500 rounds, and that is 25 boxes of 20, and NOT 24 boxes of 20.. ?
TLDR
Got the run around from SAA, bad customer service, and ended up with a better deal than expected because of it.. hahahaha
