Because only common citizens go to jail. Politicians, business elites, and anyone connected to them never do. Regardless of how much they steal, lie, or mismanage.

Tell that to the Watergate 7, or Martha Stewart, Bernie Madoff, and last but not least, Blago (Rod Blagojevich).

There are jail sentences for these types...but the DOJ has to have the integrity to pursue them...and with this admin it ain't gonna happen to Reid.

Is there any way for The People to make it happen?
I plan on drafting up a letter to send to DC, to each and every representative I can find contact information for. Email and a paper copy.

This has the appearance of a "high crime" ... The kind of thing that in times past whole governments might've collapsed from being caught with their hands involved.

It sure seems to me that even those "on his side" would want to crucify him for his putting their whole game in jeopardy.

Is my idealism blinding me to reality?

I like Yankee Marshall's video on the issue. Matches my views.

I also like that Yeager and HossUSMC are on the way there. I don't think its over.

As per the LCOK's meeting last night. We were notified from state level to go "Yellow" as in be ready to move. Then, when the Chapter Coordinator found out the terms, he told us to stand down. He was unwilling for any of us to go under Rhodes' suggested method.. which was non-camo and not armed. We remain at "Yellow". I give my CC credit for making a correct assessment, I'd share more, but I'm off to work...

I can't verify this story.

http://www.truthandaction.org/breaking-feds-returning-to-bundy-ranch/

“The door isn’t closed. We’ll figure out how to move forward with this,” BLM spokesman Craig Leff told the Associated Press, adding, “The BLM and National Park Service did not cut any deal and negotiate anything, there was no deal we made.”

This completely contradicts reports on Saturday which stated that, “A deal has been reached between the Bundy family and the Bureau of Land Management.”

In another twist, private investigator Doug Hagmann claims a Department of Homeland Security source told him that the federal stand down on Saturday was merely a temporary measure designed to “hoodwink” Bundy supporters into “believing that the situation is being resolved”.

Hagmann says his source told him the plan to release the cattle had been devised the day before and that Saturday’s activities were focused around a military assessment of the strength of the “resistance” shown by Bundy supporters.

It's common sense.

a jail cell is too good for harry reid and his shit bag son. there's something else that is better suited for them, and it involves a hole in the ground.

I truly believe that in a different place and/or a different time, such a breach of the public's trust would earn such people exactly that.

Sweet Jeezus.

Too much religion (for me) but nice to hear from the boys who had their boots on the ground there.

Brief summary?

I don't have time to watch it now in it's entirety.

They think it was set up to be a slaughter of the agents guarding the cattle at the gate. 500 against 20-30 of them, and they figure the 20 or so would have been dead in 30 seconds or so. I agree it was a horrible position they were in and made little sense. They were down in a hole and would have had to contend with fire potentially from three sides. Something like what happened in Operation Red Wing/Lone Survivor for instance. So, basically what they are saying is that the 20 guys guarding were setup (not knowingly) to create a conflict with the enraged "militia" and would be slaughtered, which would in turn create a monstrocity of media spin and public outrage, bringing on the end of the Second Amendment in the US. Something to that effect. They said something about an armored vehicle and SWAT down the road as well, but I don't really get their point as much with that. One of the big points they made was about why those guys weren't communicated to in relation to the release of the cattle.

I wasn't there like they were, and I'm not saying they're wrong, but their points were based off tired assumptions.

I'm not to sure how I feel about their little conspiracy. I'm sure that there's some behind to scenes stuff happening for the land, but as for the swat team being down the highway I think that the Sheriff just brought them along in case there was conflict.

Think about it. He's got two groups of people that have been at odds for days, both heavily armed and agitated, facing off. He's also got a highway full of peaceful protesters which includes women and children. If anyone were to get a little itchy with their trigger finger all hell would have broke loose. So he had a swat team just down the road, Just in case.
