The Bureau of Land Management said on Friday night that “illegal” structures – water tanks and corrals – on Bundy’s ranch had to be removed to restore the land to its natural state.

But I'm sure Harry Reids solar farm structures will be ok.

Look what I found, dated from February 2012. Just shortly after the presidents re-election.

http://www.newsnet1.com/electricnevada. ... lmregs.htm <<<<<<

A proposal by the U.S. Bureau of Land Management to increase its police powers in the West triggered a torrent of protest this week in Nevada's Elko County and the state of Idaho.

While BLM Deputy Chief of Law Enforcement Dennis McLane -- speaking from the bureau's national Inter Agency Fire Center, in Boise, Idaho -- denied the agency was attempting to expand its underlying authority or add law enforcement personnel, he did say that the agency was expanding the number of things it was prohibiting.

Has anybody read HAGE vs. UNITED STATES?
Another rancher. This Leeds me to believe even more in the fact that something bigger is going on here.
Short story below.

I don't know the validity. Can't get to the original site via mobile.

http://rtfitchauthor.com/2011/07/30/nevada-tribal-leader-81-sues-blm-for-30-million/

The federal government seized Raymond Yowell’s cattle — all 132 head — and hauled them across the state and sold them at auction.

Then the U.S. Bureau of Land Management sent Yowell a bill for $180,000 for back grazing fees and penalties, and later garnished part of his Social Security benefits.

Now, nearly a decade later, the 81-year-old former chief of the Western Shoshone National Council is fighting back. He’s suing the U.S. Bureau of Land Management, the Treasury Department and others for $30 million. Yowell claims the government violated his constitutional rights, broke an 1863 treaty and saddled him with a debt that he doesn’t owe.

Agreed, Munchie.
I am keeping an ear to the RR tracks to see what develops.
Kind of strange, but WaGuns has been the primary source of news and links regarding this kind of issue for me. Some of the links have been better than others, a couple have been phenomenal. The Storm Clouds Gathering site seemed to do a very good job of both presenting information and verifying it, and tossing water on the false leads.

I had no idea how rotten that Reid fellow is before this ... I'd heard him speak and I had felt an icky feeling, but wasn't sure why. Now I am confident that he's simply a great big self-serving leach riding on the back of America.

Added: I also heard that sheriff Mack fellow talking for a bit on Sunday's episode of Armed American Radio (Sundays at 5pm I think) and was GREATLY relieved to find out that the resisters did not put women and children up front as it was reported in mainstream media.

They never miss a good chance to try to make liberty-minded folks look bad. Heck, they don't even mind inventing the good chance.

I wish Nevada would do like Colorado did and petition for a special election and get Reid out of there. He truly is an idiot. As far as the women and children first thing, I never read where they actually did it. They just had some dumbshit on video saying that is what they were going to do. I was baffled that someone would actually be dumb enough to be caught on tape saying that. No honor in that man.

Well.. here's the deal...

If women (not children, F that) were willing to become martyrs, then I say let them. They're adult enough to make their own decisions.

The gov't would be crucified in the media, and there's no way they could justify shooting a bunch of unarmed women, even with a couple squads of armed men behind them.....

Ouch. Yeah, that's some pretty damning stuff right there.

How convenient. Radio silence on mainstream news until he says something that they can spin to take the heat off the real issue. He could be the biggest damn racist in all of Clark County, State of Nevada, United States of America, and world as a whole. Still doesn't make what the BLM is trying to do any less bad.

That won't make it out of the mouths of the talking heads and into the ears of the sheeples, though.

Agreed, it's two separate issues.

But . . . public perception is important, and he's not doing himself any favors by spouting off like that.

No doubt it's probably better off Cliven had not taken the bait to be set up, but his comments still don't mean he's a racist, and this really isn't about Bundy anyways. I mean the emphasis shouldn't be on Bundy at all. This is much bigger.

Less edited version anyways: http://youtu.be/agXns-W60MI
