Spin it thru another lens. How many people in this State of Washington look at Indian Reservations, the welfare system, the broken school system, in the same way? Quite a few, ask around. Doesn't make what he said any less grating on the psyche, but when you get past the poor choice of wording and think about the issue itself, it's a legitimate problem in the world.
A man who runs a cattle ranch like Bundy's is never going to be the world's most foremost speaker when asked about other races, the modern world as we know it, and the value of a hard day's work. However, people who like shock value always know folks like Bundy are going to say stuff, and they lap it up like drama pudding.
My dad is a good guy, 78 years old, and knows a hard day's work. Ask him what he thinks about certain people, and you probably won't like the verbiage but if allowed to be filtered through a proof-reader, it will sound better. But, people like him, Bundy, Phil Robertson....they don't have filters. Never needed them. Not until everyone became so hypersensitive.

Yep, people that work good and hard with their hands are probably not polished like a politician when it comes to verbiage in the public perception. That doesn't mean what they say has less value, it ma have more, a lot more actually. I've yet to think bad of Cliven Bundy. It seems there is always a reasonable explanation for his actions from what I can tell.

That won't make it out of the mouths of the talking heads and into the ears of the sheeples, though.
edited cuz I can't spell...
I did find it amusing that nobody but fox touched this until the guy went all racist.

The media didn't want to market the idea of standing up to the government and kicking it's ass. Now they found a way to tear down the rally behind the idea.

Mr. Bundy is what he is. In this instance his thinking is backward and incorrect.
Much in the same way as much of Randy Weaver's and David Koresh's thinking was incorrect.
Famed attorney Gerry Spence defended Randy Weaver, willingly and pro-bono, all the while disagreeing with Mr. Weaver's personal views.
Vicky and Sammy Weaver, David Koresh and others with him never received a trial. They were all murdered by the heavy hand of out of control federal government.
Owing money to the government, or having a differing point of view, even if highly disagreeable, is not probable cause for execution. Few crimes are. Not the last time I checked anyway. Certain federal agencies continue to not only act as judge, jury, and executioner, but as lawmakers as well.
They must not be allowed to continue to abuse, maim, and murder. under the color of law.
I am not a fan of say, Al Sharpton, whom I believe to be racist, and a mere hustler. However, were the federal government to attempt to use it's heavy hand on him because of the millions in back taxes his organization owes, abusing his family and friends, assaulting those that protest, and setting up so called "free speech zones" I would be on the side of ANY American who interposed themselves between Mr.Sharpton and an abusive federal government. I could see past the flaws in the man's character, recognize him as a citizen of the United States, one with the same rights as everyone else, even though he may not feel the same way about MY rights.
This isn't about Mr. Bundy at all. This is about what America has become and what we will permit in the future.

The media stayed away from sentence #2 until they could find a reason to pile onto sentence #1. A big problem is most of America only knows what they see on TV. More people know Russell Wilson is getting a divorce than what is going on down in Bunkerville, Nevada.
....and that's how THEY want it. Put blinders on, go to Wal Mart, buy a PS4 and a big bag of Cheetos, and go home to Facebook about where YOU think Flight 370 went.

The media was waiting for him to just ask someone for a black trash bag to put back into the trash can and they would have blown it up. What he gave them was bigger than what the refs have the sea-bitches (I just knew I could tie it in) I am glad he stood up to the BLM and I am even happier that his brothers stood with him. But this will definitely cut down on the support for him badly.
They will try to throw muff in his face for a few days until people ask how long ago was this? And they will stop caring. By next week you will be hard pressed to find his name in print.

I don't know if this will get any play mainstream, but here is an official press release from Cliven Bundy regardless:
"FOR IMMEDIATE PRESS RELEASE - BUNDY RANGE WAR - 4-25-14
We are trading one form of slavery for another.
What I am saying is that all we Americans are trading one form of slavery for another. All of us are in some measure slaves of the federal government. Through their oppressive tactics of telling the ranchers how many cows they can have on their land, and making that number too low to support a ranch, the BLM has driven every rancher in Clark County off the land, except me. The IRS keeps the people of America in fear, and makes us all work about a third or a half of the year before we have earned enough to pay their taxes. This is nothing but slavery from January through May. The NSA spies on us and collects our private phone calls and emails. And the government dole which many people in America are on, and have been for much of their lives, is dehumanizing and degrading. It takes away incentive to work and self respect. Eventually a person on the dole becomes a ward of the government, because his only source of income is a dole from the government. Once the government has you in that position, you are its slave.
I am trying to keep Martin Luther King Jr.'s dream alive. He was praying for the day when he and his people would be free, and he could say I’m free, free at last, thank God I’m free at last! But all of us here America, no matter our race, are having our freedom eroded and destroyed by the federal government because of its heavy handed tactics. The BLM, the IRS, the NSA--all of the federal agencies are destroying our freedom. I am standing up against their bad and unconstitutional laws, just like Rosa Parks did when she refused to sit in the back of the bus. She started a revolution in America, the civil rights movement, which freed the black people from much of the oppression they were suffering. I'm saying Martin Luther King's dream was not that Rosa could take her rightful seat in the front of the bus, but his dream was that she could take any seat on the bus and I would be honored to sit beside her. I am doing the same thing Rosa Parks did--I am standing up against bad laws which dehumanize us and destroy our freedom. Just like the Minutemen at Lexington and Concord, we are saying no to an oppressive government which considers us to be slaves rather than free men. I invite all people in America to join in our peaceful revolution to regain our freedom. That is how America was started, and we need to keep that tradition alive.
Cliven D. Bundy

Speak truth, you're a Racist or a Domestic Terrorist. Don't like Obama's policies, you're a Racist or a Domestic Terrorist. Don't like Social Programs, you're a Racist or a Domestic Terrorist. These are the Buzzwords to demonize any perspective or ideas, that do not fall into line with the Party Line. No matter what we say or do, no matter what we actually believe, no matter what the actual reality is.. you'll be labelled a Racist or Domestic Terrorist by those who wish to discredit enemies of the Party Line.
Words are all these people have, because their actions show the contrary, and as long as they can control the message they instill division. As long as we keep falling prey to the main/state stream/run media messages of division, and continue to focus on the petty, and believe their version of truth, they will win the disinformation war.

Notice how no media outlets are playing the entirety of his interview.
Really guys, we spend all this time complaining about the media and their bias and them feeding us only what we want to hear. When you put the context of what he said together in its entirety, you see that he isn't being racist at all, simply not sugar coating the truth.

The media is exaggerating what was said. Misrepresenting it. People (me included) get on info wars for exaggerration, but then look at what Hannity is saying now after jumping ship. Beck was exaggerating from the beginning. I actually canceled that assholes blazetv after his bs rants regarding this issue. He's just like the rest imo, protecting the establishment. I'm trying not to cuss on here, it's not easy. Anyways, it really sucks that we have no mainstream media outlets with balls. It comes from the top down, and they all fall right in line. None of them can be trusted for anything when it really comes down to it.
