The best way to recover from a mistake (the funeral home) would have been to raise their hand, apologize, let me check into this, and then follow up. Many times a simple fact finding mission and immediate apology avoids big blow ups. Considering how many bodies these guys deal with annually, there is bound to be an issue at some time. No process is ever 100% accurate. Doesn't excuse it, and it doesn't make the family feel any better. Dahl Owns/operates 4 cemeteries and 5 funeral homes in the SW WA area.

And I am.
Besides, I don't care what people think of me. If I did.... I'd be a mod.

Shit happens. This is bad shit, but they should have owned up to it, apologized profusely and refunded all costs. Instead they were total dicks and tried to say the family didn't recognize their own dad?!? WTF kind of asshattery is that? That deserves the lawsuit right there. Not the mistake itself, but them being dicks about it.

I talked to one of the brothers a week ago (not the one that is a member on here) and he mentioned that the lawsuit was ramping up. They are all still pretty distraught over the ordeal.

FYI
Bleitz Funeral in Fremont REQUIRES a photo of the deceased before they will even begin anything.
I've been through this.
