Pit bulls are just the latest in the "oh my gawd, scary dog!" line. German Shepards, Dobermans, Rottweilers, they've all had their turn under the spotlight. Being prejudiced against pits "because they're scary and mean" is as asinine as being prejudiced against ARs because "they're scary and evil".

But yes, the discrimination against the girl is horrible, and I hope her family takes KFC to the cleaners in the courtroom.
