I would have punched the manager right in the mouth, then went after whoever complained.

Yeah, I have a child that has a genetic condition that can lead to disfigurement....I'd be tempted to do the same. I'm a pretty passive guy, but you don't mess with my kids.

Oh come on, pit bulls are perfectly safe when properly trained. And you know how many people properly train their dogs...

You cant train the baby eating bastards to ignore their inborn instinct to kill.

I had my face mauled by a German shepherd when I was around her age. A lot of people hold those dogs in high esteem around here.

There's a lot of ignorance in these two posts. But since we're dealing in stereotypes don't you two have a school or movie theater shoot up? You know, since we're attributing the actions of a fraction of a percentage of a total demographic to underlying traits of the entire demographic.

ignorance... whatever. certain breeds of dogs are bred for certain tasks. pit bulls are bred for fighting. it's in their blood, it's what they want to do. pit bulls are statistically the most likely breeds to maim or kill a human - it's not just media hype.

I have known a couple of awesome pitbulls that were very gentle dogs which I would love to own, but a statistical anomaly.

pitbull apologists.. sorry, your dog was bred to kill. congratulations if you have it trained not to do so, but you are outnumbered ten to one by white trash shitheads who bought one to look tough, and the extent of their training is putting it on a rope attached to a pole.

Awesome.... I point out the intolerance of people... and more people start expressing their intolreance for dogs. If you want to bitch about pit bulls and the white-trash that give them a bad name, start your own fucking post and bitch there.

Yeah. It makes a lot of sense to breed a dog to fight other dogs and also make it human aggressive. Since it's typically humans that go in and end the fight.

I mean if that's the argument you want to use. The only accurate part of your statement is that the dogs will probably end up with serious behavior issues if you chain it to a pole outside. But then again, that's true of any dog.

There are millions of these dogs out there. If you're even remotely good at math you'll find that human attacks by these dogs are the statistical anomaly.

But go ahead and quote dogbitelaw. But just FYI, it's kind of like getting gun violence stats from moms demand action.

Also the media identifies pit bull type dogs about as well as they identify guns.

it has to do with the story. I get it, dogs are jesus to some people.

I guess you've never seen how most dog fights are "ended", or how the fighting dogs are handled. they don't get pets and a treat afterwards.

selective dog breeding for a specific purpose doesn't exist when it's your favorite breed... I get it.

I agree that dog attacks are statistically unlikely. unfortunately this breed of dogs constitutes most of the stats on serious dog attacks. also the PDF file linked is from JAMA, not dogbitelaw. dogbitelaw just so happens to host it. I'm sure you can find more current stats hosted on some other site if you wanted to, and the results are going to look the same.

I see the connection you want to make with anti-gun folks, but if you can tell me about which type of gun is known for leaving its safe and attacking children all on its own, let me know about it. Maybe it's a new TrackingPoint product in the works?

the difference between anti-gunners and myself? I don't think pitbulls should be banned. I just wish less shitty people owned them, because they CAN be good dogs.

I'll leave it at that.

since it wasn't a central cali roach coach, you have a real good chance at getting diarrhea.

If true this is terrible, but this sounds a little too outrageous to be totally true. Something more was going on. No one in their right mind kicks the kid out just because of the scars/wounds/bandages. i don't buy it.

And of course KFC can't deny anything because they'd look like the big bad bully if they did.

I'm waiting for more info before grabbing a pitchfork...

PS my wife was attacked and nearly killed by a german shepard. I did some digging at the time and german shepards were the #1 culprit in dog vs human attacks.

Any animal can be dangerous. Heck even my cat when he got his tail accidentally squished in the door lost his little mind for a second. How it's raised though is a very big factor.

I just love how this started off on the intolerance of a beautiful little girl, then turns into intolerance of a breed of dogs.
