Almost everything bought from a store is marked up anywhere from 100% - 500%.
Everyone accepts overpaying at a business because we are just raised to accept it, after all it's so convenient.
So as I appreciate anyone that can help out by offering a decent price, you must also accept a private seller can charge top dollar or even more depending on supply and demand.

It's the American way, personally I think there are bigger things to worry about, there are so many distractions, it's tough to focus on what matters.

Does this invoice set any kind of record?
CCI 0038 22 CB LONG Lead Round Nose 29gr NOT LR 100 per box
1 $28.99 $28.99

Subtotal: $28.99
Tax: $0.00
Shipping Cost: $13.99
Grand Total: $42.98

That's right, $42.98 per 100 'no-hear-ums' (as smart asses everywhere like to say, "You get what you pay for").
:shocked4:
Reselling them for $30, however, would be gouging because I used to buy gasoline for 29 cents a gallon . . . got it.

Both Puyallup walmart and Spanaway have 22lr in stick according to the search engine I use. 100 round and 50 round boxes.

Selling a gun or ammo at a fair market price, even though it may have been cheaper 8 years ago or looks a lot like something that may be cheaper is not gouging.

Let's just simplify this whole thread. You see the price, you don't like the price, you don't buy it, and call it a day.

And for making comments in the ads....I know its against forum policy, but why the hell shouldnt we police the gougers? Let them post their ripoffs on another forum.

I remember when bricks of .22 where $14, I remember when gas was $2 a gallon(and my dad bitched about that), I remember when a candy bar was $.44, and you could get full at mcdonalds for lest than $5(off of dollar menu). If there is high demand for a product and people price it high, and it still sells, well both people are at fault. The seller for trading in helping people out by charging x2-x3 the price or more than what he paid for it, and the idiot who is willing to pay x2-x3 the price for it. If everyone quit buying from them and said "no way in hell" the "gouger" would be forced to sell it cheaper than what he is asking.

I understand trying to sell for a few bucks more than what they bought it for, I myself sold a bunch of pmags that I had during the panic to people whom I knew needed them(I didn't post them on here, or armslist or anywhere else for $60 a pop), I asked for $14 each for new ones, and $10 for a couple used metal surplus mags I had. I could have easily gotten $30+ a piece if I had wanted to, but I cared more to try and help my buddies out. And the price I asked/sold them for barely covered my gas to drive them half way so they didn't have to drive all the way up to me.

So if we want the private sale prices of ammo to decrease, quit buying it, get your friends and family to quit buying it, that's the only way to get ammo prices to drop, and all these asshats who buy it to flip n sell at a profit, well if they can't sell what they have on hand they prob won't go out and keep picking places dry so more and more may start surfacing back in shelves.

Just my 2cents

It's fucking bullshit! Especially when there's good, honest people out there that are trying to introduce shooting to new people or take our kids out on the weekends and introduce this great hobby to them. These hoarders need to have a rope tied to their testicles and dragged around the parking lot at Cabelas! What a bunch of jerkoffs! Please stop buying from these idiots people!!!
So, if I get you correctly. All ads should be submitted to you for your f**king price approval prior to posting or you will thread crap them or want them banned. Do I understand the post correctly? Enough of the drama foks. If you don't like the price don't buy it. Are you also in charge of the prices at Sears? If so I have a bitch. P.S. I am not out of ammo. You are.
