No one enjoys over paying, but some of us don't get worked up , or think its any of our business ,what other people do with their property.

I've personally seen people desperate enough to be excited about being able to buy a 500 round brick of 22lr for $80ish. He wasn't excited by the price, he was excited he got to buy any 22lr at all.

That's poor planning at any price. If you're out of ammo, short of having it stolen or lost in a house fire, you're the only one to blame.

Oh, have I mentioned recently that one of my pet peeves is when people deliberately break the rules, and cause work for the mods? One of the mods was up late last night and cleaned up the little price-bashing posts that you guys made, and here I am early in the morning working this issue rather than getting to work on time.

Seriously? At the start of this mess I had about 5,000 rounds of rimfire and was shooting about 300 rounds a week. When that ran out I shot only centerfire for awhile but eventually had to slow down and let me range membership expire due to the cost.

If you're out of ammo it's probably because unlike loser "prepper" types, you enjoy shooting sports and actually frequent a range.

Am I a little upset? Yes, some of my favorite firearms are rimfire. My only hope is that once all the Armslist flipping 8:00am Cabelas losers run out of their mom's money, the 50% increase in .22lr production will cause prices to fall below $20/500.

Yes, the ones whose preparation efforts focus mainly on 22lr or whatever else is hard to get at the time. They make price gouging possible, either that or everyone is shooting A LOT more .22lr the last few years...

The people waiting in line for ammo deliveries so they can buy all the .22 and flip it at double. I know I sure don't have that kind of time.
