No. I've had lots of bikes. Currently I've got a couple Harley's and this. This one is just a toy.

First dual sport though.

Dual sport is the best of both worlds.

And for the price it's hard to beat these Honda 650's. Plus they run forever and hold their value pretty well.

I had an XR650L for a few years and sold it to buy a Husqvarna supermoto bike which was a blast to ride but too extreme for me all around. I ended up regretting having sold the Honda. That bike will not let you down. Ride it in good health.

Put 330 miles on my wing today. Your balls would still be vibrating tomorrow if you did that

Never got into offroad because the asshole in front kept on goosing it and tossing rocks that FUCKING HURT!

Great exercise but not my thing. Two wheels are fun though!

lol you just gotta go faster, used to trail behind 2 quads once they went side by side I'd litterally sqeezed by and goosed them hard (sand is torture)

I've got a KLR650, had the opportunity to buy a HD but after some thoughts, I realized I'd eventually take the HD up in the woods and lay that $11k bike on the side way up in da woods and would have to fight to get it back up..
I've been on enduros/dual sports since mid seventies and just can't get enough seat time really. I can still do 90+ mph, but high center of gravity makes it a bit unnerving.
I take trips up to Republic and will tell you, for seat comfort, the Honda does come in third. Even on the wide KLR seat, I'm taking a cigar break after about 90 minutes. Just jump on a 650, 700/800 BMW dual and see what comfort is!!!! Was going to get one next spring but, boss lady just bought a new X3 so my dream ride is on hold for a couple more years.
Probably heading out to do a loop from Puyallup to Packwood an over the hill to Whistling Jack's an back on 410 if your interested in a ride next wknd. The forest road we wind up taking is dusty as hell so we usually take it slow, that and I'm trying to squeeze a few more miles outta the tires before I roll the new ones on. Plus, got a new guy we're breaking in and getting him a bunch of local seat time before we all head out for a couple days up to northeastern corner of the state for the best prime rib dinner. 900 mile trip for dinner....

Man I would love to make a ride like that. You should PM me the details. I don't know if I would be able to make it this weekend but I would surely try and make it to the next one. Sounds like a good time. :mulletslayer:

Couple of us hitting the road Sunday at 8 am. Meet at McDonald's at 176th and Meridian.
Dual sport ride, so no street queens, unless your comfortable riding forest roads and climbing some steep stuff on it.
Probably almost 300 mile trip an back in town before dusk.
Must be able to do freeway speeds, yet stable on thick gravel and climbing a couple of single tracks.
Won't be much for shooting but, aside from a secret area of mine that's a no, no, you'll find a healthy number of spots where you can reach out to 1k yards.
I carry a comp so dropping tire press for gravel is fine, I do.
If interested, there'll be a pretty and new Honda waiting for gravel rash and a lime green and red KLR there Sunday morn.
