A Montana judge struck down most of a 2012 voter-approved law requiring government officials to conduct immigration checks on anybody seeking services provided by the state — from unemployment benefits to crime-victim assistance.

It wasn't just about crime-victim assistance.

Besides, let's get back to the definition of the word illegal shall we?

If they weren't here illegally, there wouldn't be a need for crime victim assistance.

All three of my sons are also duallies, and guess what that means? If a military draft is required in either country, their chances of being called up to serve is double--either Canada or the U.S., or both-- that of your children.

I find it sickening that you come in here claiming to be a practicing gun owner yet you side with a political party who not only wants to disarm us but they want to let even more illegal aliens in and refuse to do anything about the millions that are here. The draft in either country isn't likely to happen Jen, a minor "disadvantage" at best. The way I see it, serving the country in which you have lived and prospered is not a "disadvantage"

I did a little looking, seems there are a number of advantages to being a "duallie".

You get free healthcare in Canada.

You can live and work in either country, you can choose by which one is doing better economically

You vote in both.

You can get/collect social services in both countries.

You have two Embassies you can get help from while traveling.

...and you can collect Social Security from the USA, plus a Government Pension from Canada.

Your 3 boy's get to do the same, and all of their Children....and so on.

Jen, I'm sure you are a good person. I am not questioning the Integrity of you or your family in any way, but I'm sure you can see some potential issues from us regular US citizens.

We can't even take care of the Legal US citizens in this country, let alone the one's here Illegally.

I have no problem with LEGAL immigrants....I have a problem with all the one's here ILLEGALLY that are now a burden to our social and Court system.

It's really very simple.

If you want to live and work in the United States, apply for a visa and come in the legal way.

If you cannot do it that way, stay out.

This recent flood of destitute people is heart-wrenching, but it is also ILLEGAL!

I have no problem with immigrants coming here the proper way, to become American Citizens, and being a part of the United States.

I DO have a problem with immigrants coming here, and trying to make MY country, THEIR country, especially when they do so ILLEGALLY!

Amnesty didn't work in the 80's under Reagan, and it isn't going to work now. Especially when these people who are coming here, aren't coming here to BE AMERICANS.
