Use a leveling compound for any uneven surfaces and you'll be golden.

I used Allure, like it a lot. Water resistant.

Applying takes a little practice. Get a big straight edge for cutting. Make sure your joints are perfectly lined up, no re-do's!

As I said, you can use a heat gun to reactivate the glue and shift them if you have to. I'd have one handy. A regular hair dyer would probably work too.
