Also I cannot emphasize how frustrating it is to see Hanauer pleading to his "fellow .01%" to support ambiguous domestic policies that will supposedly force an end to the so-called inequality gap - via.... ?

He would be far better served suggesting to them that perhaps they stop outsourcing every drop of labor to foreign markets, which is probably the #1 cause for the implosion of the middle class, dissolution of blue-collar cities into crime and unemployment, and the expectation that untrained workers are going to survive and prosper in the service economy, aided by an inflationary minimum wage and social services powered by magical endless taxpayer funding.

No, instead Nick wants the government to do "something", like raising the minimum wage, which can potentially only accelerate the cycle of outsourcing and automation, ending up in an even greater gap and higher unemployment rate.

But what do I know.. I'm not a billionaire investor born with a silver spoon in my mouth who was lucky enough to invest in unknown dot-coms at just the right time.
