Doc Neeley's Cowboy Guns and Gear, Port Angeles

I was at Port Angeles this last week, and during a run into town from the airport, I decided to check out a gun shop/store or two. Walked into Doc Neeley's place and saw a pistol that was waving at me...... Buy Me !! Buy Me !!
Asked to see it, he brings it out with a grin..... an old used 1911 by Citadel. It was looser than a 2-bit whore on a Sunday night. But oh, the trigger was sweet. Looking at the price, I decides its worth the gamble.
So I says, "Let's do the paperwork" Yank out the WDL, and CPL, and started to fill out the blanks.... He then says, "excuse me for a moment" so I look around his little store, and observes he has a fair variety of powders and a butt load of primer bricks. Powder seemed to being going for 31 to 39 per pound, and the primer bricks were marked at 39.95 each. I wonder, is this the new normal now for primers?
I see him at the counter patiently waiting for me, so I walk back to him. He says, how did you want to pay for this? I replied that I thought I'd drop cash down. He says Cool, and rings it up and I pay him. Have a nice day he says. UHhhhh.... paperwork all done and approved?, I asked.
Yep, all done. I''m thinking he did the paperwork before I paid him.... Wow. How often does one see this?
I was in and out of there under 10 miniutes.
I think he deserves a nice shout out, for being pleasant as can be, and efficient.
