I was up at Pete Lake last weekend and this little buck (300+lbs) hung around my campsite all weekend .... I got with in 5 feet of him and zero fucks given he just kept nibbling away at the bushes around our campsite.

The log in the foreground was near our fire pit.

Pretty cool experience.

Those little fuckers disappear during season. They taunt us the rest of the year. It's like they get beamed into outer space for 10 days.

300#???? are you sure? Blacktail at that weight would probably be a record. Mulie or whitetail you bet.

ohh I have no clue about his weight. I'm not a hunter, my buddy guessed it. He was about 4-5ft tall and pretty thick. He he had decided to charge me he would have been filled with some .40 cal.

Measure girth around deer just behind front legs:
(live weight)
