I'm sure if he was able to get close enough to throw a measuring tape around the bucks chest, he could have just walked him onto a scale. Much more accurate.

Whoa, that is an awesome camping spot!

Pics don't do it justice....my dang 3Gs kept crapping out!!!! To the right of the campsite there is a large stream and a nice rocky beach. Definitely the primo spot at Pete Lake. Second time Ive camped there and definitely going back.

Deer sometimes wander out onto the range at Upper Nisqually Sportsman's in Eatonville, while everyone is shooting trap! They wander out and start grazing, sometimes right where the clay fall. They have to stop shooting and shoo the deer off.

Huh... small world... I was at Pete lake last weekend too. We also had a deer in our site, but it looks like we were on opposite ends of the lake.
