Some people may not like his politics, but he does not play fuck around. I think he simply wanted to stop some shaddy bullshit. Good on him.

UHHHH I'm thinking he was doing his job protecting the 2nd amendment rights of the people in his state.

Regardless, I like the message:

Governor Christie has consistently stated that we must focus on what actually works to reduce violence in our society and not just what is politically popular or sounds good in name only.

He just saw what happened in Conneticut and realized it was a nightmare in the making.

Nope he has helped define the direction of the republican party if they want to survive. He has decided to tell the Christian coalitionists they don't belong in politics! All marriages are really unions and what the church does is between you and the church but keep it the hell out of politics. Rand Paul is the same way and the future of the Republican party.......

Once again, it's really hard to tell if you are serious. So he backs away from some of the gun control legislation the he himself proposed. His record is clear with regards to the 2nd Amendment, and it is not good.

Having lived in NJ, I can tell you the only thing sleazier than a NJ politician is an IL politician and Christie is at the top of NJ politics. If ass hats like Christie are setting the tone for the Republican party, we all might as well turn in our guns and join a drum circle,

I don't trust Christie and am afraid if he mends fences with the Conservatives hell win the nomination for 2016....this country cant handle 4 years of a Bush Moderate.

Especially after 8 yrs of socialism.

Christy will become president because the Mainstream Media will tell you how to vote.

It will begin during the primaries. They will say that your favorite candidate "can't beat the Democrat" so you must nominate Christy..

Christie looked like a good prospect for the Republican Presidential candidacy...right up until Bridgegate. I would've really liked to have seen a Christie/Patrick ticket on the Republican side.

Not that I'm a particular fan of Christie, but "bridgegate" is about the lamest scandal one could ever get upset over, and didn't even have his direct involvement.

In the grand scheme of things, the worst scandal he can be attached to is the closing of several lanes of rush hour traffic? It's laughable.
