Just to clarify, this happened in Takoma Park (not Tacoma) . . . wherever the hell that is.

Takoma Park is a POS suburb of DC, in Maryland.

Had an officer from that dep't outright lie to get a warrant for me. The judge tossed the case in a heartbeat, then yelled at the city prosecutor and the officer for blatantly lying in reports.. The pictures that they took of me were completely opposite of what was written in the report, proving that they were lying about the entire thing..

They're not only corrupt, they're dumb. If you're gonna lie on a report to get someone arrested, don't take pictures that completely disprove your allegations.

I know of multiple situations of rape allegations, DUI stops turned into rapes, stalking, 'tickets' being paid for in cash on the spot, etc.

What was their motive?

Unknown, but I'm thinking a FF may have boned his wife or something... He claimed that I claimed I said I was a paid firefighter, meanwhile, I was wearing my job shirt (lovingly referred to as a class C) and my ID with the logo and name of the volunteer company.

That's what made it hilarious. He took pics of me on scene (after he 'pulled me over' as I was stopped, taping up my e-brake cable that had just snapped), HUGE letters/words 'VOLUNTEER FIRE/RESCUE' on my work shirt and ID... Yet he accuses me of saying I was a career guy..

Bunch of crooked fucks.

They even lowered the voting age to 16, presumably to get easily impressioned young people to vote for them.

Just one tinee, tiny, eensie, weensie, little problem with that. DC, a basically gun-free zone of all sorts.

True but this was a suburb. MD is pretty bad though. It's the reason I chose VA when I lived in the area. Shall issue, and open carry is legal (and the only way to carry in a restaurant that serves alcohol... no not a bar, but anyplace that serves alcohol is off limits to concealed carry. So not just bars or the bar section like here, but all of Olive Garden or Denny's if they have alcohol at all.
