I swear that if anyone ever needed brain surgery I could probably find out how after searching YouTube. :wink05:
That place has saved me more time and money then I'd care to guess. :wagwoot:

We replaced B's laptop screen thanks to YouTube just the other day. When the hood latch pull in my Explorer broke last year, YouTube showed me how to open the hood. YouTube has also shown me most of the firearm fixes I have done.

Youtube is also great for watching other peoples common mistakes so you don't repeat their folly. Like that one little spring.... you seen fly across the room.... but it was in THEIR video, and so you didn't have to wait the 3 weeks for mini spring arrival in the mail. Cracks me up, when in the middle of a how to vid it says " oh Sh!t" then it says 3 weeks later... back to dis assembly / reassembly. or it says... guess I took too much off of that trigger.... don;t do it like that.... this is my third attempt... cracks me up. It's also great for finding common problems that you think are part of an AK build, but its more an issue with an aftermarket trigger group like tapco G2's riding hard on bolt and carrier, slowing the action and making them sticky. Re profile hammer to a mil spec shape, (the non-precision portion) and shazam!

It took you 3 hours to change an alternator??? Did that include driving to the auto parts store?

I just threw up a little in my mouth! It's too early in the morning to read a comment like that.

Easy there.... not everyone was born with mechanical knowledge...

Unlike you, I had to learn how to do everything on all of my machines and it took me some time to get quick at it.

Ever do one on a Northstar V8? Like say in a '97 Eldorado?
