Dayum! I thought I was all done with my work in Phoenix

Today's Phoenix weather===

Phoenix, AZ
Friday 2:00 PM
Scattered Clouds
undefined
104°F | °C
Precipitation: 10%
Humidity: 18%
Wind: 5 mph

And this is a cool day there.

Looks like it followed me home.

I do prefer Phoenix's humidity (or lack of) more. Don't have to wring out my shirt as much there.

Hmm I love this weather. Bring it on. I'll be over near Wenatchee this weekend where it'll be 105-ish, and I'll be outside most of the time. I miss E. WA and the extremes...too bland over here. 75 isn't warm enough to want to take a dip in a cold lake, and what am I supposed to do with 1-2 inches of snow? Make a snow midget?

You, and some others have me thinking about a heat pump. About how much did the conversion cost?

Unfortunately I'm not a good source for cost. I bought the system on line and installed most of it myself. I had a company come in and run the heat pump lines and charge the system, plus do the final gas line hookup to meet code requirements. It was about $4000 for the furnace and heat pump system fully installed. Very high end system. I do like the gas a little better for heating. Feels warmer.

Doing Phoenix this week. ALEA convention, looks to be about 106 or so. At least I won't be doing the 12 hrs daily on the tarmac bit this time. Wife gets reeeal grumpy in hot weather. When the going gets touch, the tough get out of Dodge.
