I've seen some patients give up beer and smoking before ice cream..

I don't drink vodka, but I got me some homemade sweet tea chilling in the fridge waiting on me to add some him beam too it.

People have become stupid because as a general people have become to reliant on others, mainly the gooberment.... Shit people who lack common sense piss me off more than anything.... Like you see an 80,000 pound front end loader pushing material and you back up right to where you see that material being moved too

It took me some time to realize it... But I agree. There seems to be very few consequences (and not severe) for making poor decisions, unless the perpetrator is dumb enough to kill himself.

It's really interesting to trace the path of .Gov switching from it's original and CLEARLY limited role to the behemoth the middle class carries on it's quavering shoulders today.

i used to modify piccolo petes to make them explode. it was pretty awesome. i'd also modify the ground roses to make them fly. the only problem with that is once they left the ground, their flight path became unpredictable.

then all of those whiners during the portland water crisis from a couple months ago whining about not being able, willing, or having enough knowledge about how to boil water, and wanted free bottles of water instead. i seriously should have taken advantage of the situation by selling cases of water for a hundred per case.

These points are pretty much spot on as to why employers don't respect a HS diploma anymore. It doesn't mean anything anymore because you can get one without doing anything more than show up. Just claim you're some protected class/type of dumbass and you get a free pass to use your finger to explore your nasal passages all day and get the same diploma as the kid who takes all the AP classes and kills them.

Even with college grads, employers want to know your GPA. They know that it doesn't take much at most schools to get a 2.0 vs. a 3.5+ which takes actual effort. I'm talking about business majors mostly --- if you majored in French Medieval Literature I don't think GPA will come into play...
