Are there any reenactors, living history participants etc. on the forum?

Cool! I'm in the process of getting a Foreign Legion in Mexico c.1863 together. I've also got a French Indochina impression about finished.

Now that I'm gettin' 'em done I'm lookin' for places to use/show 'em off.

We had a French WWII reenactment group for a while...

Didn't end too well.... Too much strife

Everyone threw down their rifles and quit....

True enough... Although in all honesty it was the failure of the French gubmint and high command, not the indvidual soldier. The 13e DBLE fought with distinction in Africa, the Middle East and Italy. Although they're technically Foreign Legion...
