Bought a sr22 for my daughter to shoot on Saturday. Took her out on Sunday and she had a ball. This is her first time shooting something bigger than her pellet gun. Once she warmed up she asked if she could shoot my sr9c. Once she did that, I had a hard time getting it away from her. Ignore the big hole nearest the "9" on the left. That was just me shooting when she was done. I got in trouble for that hole

That's a hell of a first pistol target.
How old is she?

Just be ready, it will not be long until she is out shooting you. My daughter makes it a point to beat me, and then talk trash.

Nice shooting. And way to go, for introducing another woman into the shooting sports.

At 14 she will transition VERY quickly to larger calibers.

I'm looking forward to it. She also is very competitive and I have no doubt that I won't have to let her win to boost her confidence.

Initially I wanted to get her into guns and shooting for no other reason than to piss off her very liberal grandmother. Yes, my mother in law. Now that I see how much she enjoys it, I plan to get her out as much as I can just to have fun. Pissing off grandma is a secondary objective.

No doubts there. She wanted nothing to do with the 9mm when she was going out with me and shooting her pellet gun. After shooting the .22 she asked if she could shoot my 9mm but "only with 1 bullet in it." Once she shot that one round she went to two and then on to a full mag. I did make a mistake though after a mag or two and told her to double tap. That was a mistake. Why? Because she landed 2 rounds about 3 inches apart.

My son said the very same thing with the Mosin "OK, I'll try ONE round". Next thing I knew he burned his hand on the barrel after he dumped a couple of boxes through it (1/1/2014).

He shoots everything I have now. What will I do with my 5,000 rounds of .22 now??

Way to go!
