Fot the IAM, the next strike is effectively...never.

The Union HQ has determined that keeping us on the line paying them dues is better than pensions, healthcare, safety, and wages that match the rate of inflation.

And for all of you that don't work in production at Boeing who think they know exactly what it's like for those that do, Fuck You.

If you don't like it get out? 5 more years baby, and I'm gone.

Every wave of new hires that comes in sounds exactly like you. Then, after about a year of it, they sound a lot different.

See what I mean?

:crybaby:

Dan?...Did you ever work there? Do you really know anything about what happens inside those walls?
I doubt it...so you really don't know shit about it, Right?
As an 18 year employee and an IAM member, i DO know what goes on in there....and it's a shame what is happening to that Company.
I have no gripe about pay, benefits or working conditions. It's the "new" culture and management that will ruin the company.
It all started with the McDonnell Douglas merger, when we populated the Board of director's with all of their people.
Like they did SUCH a good job with that Company.
Condit, Stonecipher, Druyen, and now McNerney....all of them involved with ethics issues, all driven by profit and greed.
They should have never let Mulally go.
I work for two things....That the Airplane is built correctly and will fly safely, and the paycheck that provides for my family.
So you can have your opinion Dan, but I doubt you really know what you are talking about in regards to anything internally at Boeing.

Don't forget mike sears, also involved in the air force tanker contract corruption with condit & dyuyan. Weren't there felony charges on condit & druyan?
I only remember that soap opera bullshit because of the comical overcompensation by the corporation sending all their worker-bees on buses to the tacoma dome for 'ethics' training.
Spend a few hundred grand, put on a media show, and pretend to have fixed the problem. Bureaucracy at it's best.
Fun to watch, though!

Then you can just shut the fuck up, gobshite. Go tell your tale of inside knowledge to the FOUR cancer deaths, and six medical discharges in my shop in less than four years.

Figured you wouldn't read much past that first sentence, which is why I put it in the first sentence. You don't like it. Then fucking quit.

If my coworkers were dying of cancer linked to my job, I'd sure as fuck get outta there and have it ALL documented. Give me three good reasons your life is worth staying there for five more years that won't make you sound like a hypocritical whiner.

I'm waiting.

I read it. It's all unqualified BULLSHIT. `

So why don't you just get smart and mind your own fucking business. You, and assholes like you try to tell us on the line at Boeing what we should think, how we should act, and how we should feel about our jobs. You take leave to dictate to us what you believe we should get paid, or how much o/t we work, or how safe we should be? You pretend to be prescient and omnipotent enough to try and question our decisions, one we make based on our needs and the needs of our families? You feel as if it's your prerogative to dictate to us?

Well, go fuck yourself alright bud? You don't have that sort of pull. You aren't entitled by position nor insight to dictate to me, or my co-workers. You are just another low output shithouse intellect.

Impossible. I say. Impossible. Too many variables.

Here's some suggested reading:
WaGuns Members Code of Conduct.

Rivitman, you're a sharp guy. Lay off the personal insults, please; you can do better than that.

There are certain individuals who believe that IF you happen to work for a certain corporation, they are in some sort of a damned free fire zone when it comes to taking potshots at you.

I'm not having any of it. Anywhere, any time.
The cost is irrelevant to me.

2024 or whenever Boeing damn well pleases, since they have the IAM international president in their back pocket.

But no strike is possible either way until 2024. I'll be retired or dead by then. But Personally, I expect them to be back to seek more concessions around 2018.
