Mind fucking blown. I think people get tied up with fucking with an original too much. This looks fucking bad ass, Mad Max was amazing for it's time and should be respected for all of eternity. All people should be required to take a test about the originals before they can buy a ticket for the new one. But after all, it is just entertainment, and this will fit the bill nicely. Looks good, will definitely have to see it. Some interesting second- (and third-) generation Hollywood offspring in there.

I'm so very over Charlize Theron, though. She's a pretty face but every time I see her in something it isn't difficult to come up with an actress who would have been better for the role. I couldn't even watch her in A Million Ways to Die in the West without thinking of Sharon Stone in The Quick and the Dead. Stone absolutely nailed that role. Theron was just meh.

Now if they would just redo Weird Science and have one of the Fury Road bikers do a cameo in it, we can come full circle.
