1 On page 18, after line 20 of the striking amendment, insert the
2 following:

4 "NEW SECTION. Sec. 414. (1) The department of health shall
5 reimburse a qualifying patient for any pizza consumed by the
6 qualifying patient while he or she was under the influence of medical
7 cannabis. The department shall reimburse the patient no later than
8 five business days after the patient submits a receipt for the pizza.
9 The department may not reimburse the patient for delivery charges,
10 gratuities, or toppings in excess of three.
11 (2) For purposes of this section, "pizza" means a pie with a bread
12 crust topped with tomato sauce, cheese, and various toppings. "Pizza"
13 includes Chicago style deep dish, New York style thin crust, and
14 stuffed crust."
