That is EXACTLY what I was thinking.... TW, you're gonna have to double your fuel budget.

Nah. Budget is calculated on 5mpg.

Real world reported is 6-7....

Calculated @ $3/gallon... Looking at nationwide fuel prices... Avg. For diesel is about $2.75

So...should come in slightly under budget.... But I always estimate high in situations like this.

Still gonna be close to $2k

Luckily I'm not paying for fuel.

Differential Fill plug was stripped half inch square drive... But square was rounded.. Socket wouldn't work. Thank you Private! Had to drill it and use an extractor tool to get it out... Couldn't get a replacement so I had to cludge it. Jb welded a nut and bolt to the fill plug.... To fill the hole that we drilled in the plug and give something to wrench on.

One of the battery cables... Which was brand new... Wasn't crimped... At all... Not even a little. Picked it up and wire fell out.

Thanks again, private!

How's your average speed? About 45 mph?

How are you not paying for the fuel? That's a heck of a bonus and trick!

Is it a decent ride, or loud and bouncy? Come on, road trip reports!

That - is a bowling alley, or, an indoor pistol range on wheels.

Maybe, even a portable night club when fully expanded. Plenty of room for a bar and a pole.............
