almost seemed like he knew the guy was about to run and he already drew on him before the guy had taken 2 steps. I wonder if he told the guy something that made him run and he figured he would plant evidence and get away with murder...
it's guys like these that give the good guys a bad name... there was just absolutely no reason to even draw a weapon.. the guy was running away... you chase him down.. and 8 shots... that was shoot to kill...

I have seen some pretty incredible chase-down and tackles... This looked like he was more of a casual stroll kind of guy... wasn't into a foot chase that day.
Jaime, if we can't discuss this until after court - what's the fun in that?! We're all about dissecting videos and Monday Morning QB'ing here. heh
From what I heard on the radio, the officer shot him, walked over and cuffed him. Two more officers arrived, one gloved up, but none of the officers touched the guy after the cuffs went on. Shooter then walked back, picked up the taser and brought it over to the perp and dropped next to him. All three officers put in their reports that they tried CPR...not on film they didn't. Shooter stated in his report that the perp took the taser and ran, that's why he shot. He stated that he feared for his life.
So the shooter appears to have used lethal force on a fleeing subject, falsified a police report, and planted evidence. Backing officers both were present when the taser was moved, and neither rendered the aid they claim to have rendered. Based on the radio description...which was fairly detailed.
If true...shooter up for murder, falsifying evidence, and filing a false report. Backing officers...accomplice to falsifying evidence, and both falsified their reports.
Since then I have only seen part of the video...how far are they from the cars...can you even see them in the video? If not what got them from the cars to the taser location?
