And the fact he was charged by the DA.

Personally, I am kind of in favor of, run and get shot..armed or not.
There is no legit reason to run away from a LEO. Mind you I said run.
If you can't walk away, and you have to run...someone did something wrong...probably you.

I don't like giving government that much power. It's basically a license to kill and nobody deserves or is worthy of that.

Are you 100% sure there is a threat to someone else? I sure see lots of body language in the video. Video and picture must be a lie where you come from.

If he's fired at you then he's a valid threat...since he already presented a weapon. .. if he throws weapon on the ground, he's no longer armed and threat is neutralized and you can't shoot just because you want to. ...

If the victim had been a white vet, most of this conversation probably wouldn't be happening.

Instead it would be "Veteran murdered by cop"

If the shooter was a civilian they'd be in deep kimchee, running away shot in back, tough to prove threat. I think LE should be held to a higher standard, they are professionals after all.

A badge does not make LE the Judge, Jury and Executioner.

In the video I saw another officer arrives from the left, where the perp was headed. Whatever happened to using the radio, calling for backup, bringing the dogs, helicopters? Or just run him down? They had his car, his DNA, prints, the works. He wasn't gonna get away.

Here? As in on WaGuns? I can't see how it would be much different if it was a white guy.. I can see if it was a Vet, maybe a little more pro-vet commentary, but I think the consensus would be the same.

I dunno. There is a trend to jump to support cops when the perp is "undesirable" as if they lose all rights due to socioeconomic standing. Witness the claim that cops should be able to shoot anyone running. A faceless black guy running to avoid arrest over child support is dismissed by some as likely having it coming. Most people are noting this was simply cold blooded murder, but the dissenting views are disturbing.

I think on here there is more of a jump to support due process over anything else...
