In regards to the title, cred goes to my fellow operator and her theory.... did not disappoint at all.

I've been in a brawl like this...it ain't an easy one. Every time you start to get control of one or two...someone hits you and you get to start all over.
Officers have to use just enough force for compliance... Problem is...all the normal nonlethal force multipliers require space to use them or you connect with the wrong target.

Some of the people in that fight need to learn how to actually fight....and it ain't the family members.
I saw two or three super punches or kicks from officers that connected with other officers. (Though one of the family kids was in black and some of those might have been him)

Koodos to the shot officer and his guardian, covering each other while applying aid.

This is one of those times you need Bubba standing back by a car to fire off a 12ga and calmly saying, "that will be enough of that rukus boys"

Holy shit.. That was a bad situation fro moment one. I am surprised the LEO were able to get the upper hand on that, especially since they hit the ground right away.

I agree, in this situation, tasers are not the answer. OC time... Oprah style; You get sprayed, you get sprayed, every...body get a sprayed!

They were probably hoping for an excessive force event so they can sure for a payday
