Wednesday morning the wife and I are headed to Portland for the night. Furthest south gun shop I've been to is Tacoma. What's past that? Any places in Portland I need to check out? Good dinner in Portland? We already have breakfast place picked out for Thursday morning.
Gracias

Acropolis for streaks and titties, depending on how understanding your wife is.
Screen door for breakfast, another is very similar and great but the name is escaping at the moment.

No kids I assume? Depends on where you are staying is where you go. PDX isn't a driving city, it's little Burroughs are self sustaining communities in itself.

Not a driving city? Are you on painkillers?
Most of the places I listed have their own parking lots. Two of the best streets with multiple restaurants are Alberta and Hawthorne. Hawthorne seems a bit more touristy though, but still some good restaurants. Since you're going during the week parking shouldn't be that bad, you'll need to park in the residential areas and walk to the street areas. I would avoid driving during rush hour, there is a lot of overflow on the surface streets and it slows things down. But it's totally drivable, Dan's just talking nonsense ;)

Hit up the big food cart parking lot near powells book store. Sw 5th and stark. 15 or so food trucks. Brunch box makes good burgers, lots of different stuff. Muca is good Italian too. Olympia provisions is fantastic they have crazy good charcuterie and dinner is amazing. They have 1/2 a pig strung up to the wal that's aging for 18 months.
