We used to call collisions MVAs.. Motor Vehicle Accidents.

Then realized... There are no accidents.. It's all avoidable.. Someone is at fault..

So the county started calling them MVCs... Motor Vehicle Collisions.... They're no accident.

Same applies here...

This was no 'accident', it was preventable.

contractors discretion, if they feel they can do it without closing they are allowed too.

for instance Narrows need new paint repairs do you shut the bridge down and cause major inconvenience or safety netting, mess and other procedures to prevent flakes falling in to the river and your vehicle.

Which is why I will never understand why the state does NOT make some of the road projects and other DOT projects work during the graveyard hours, it blows my mind that of all the stuff this state does on major Highways is done during peak hours.

Pending where the project is your forgetting the start times due to equipment noise. unlike the "accident site" in a residential area is 7am But unlike the Tdome constuction ya night time would be best. why heck step out the back and its still noisy as hell and no one would loose sleep over that.

Still happens, look at the bus during graveyard on the floating bridge, yes that lane should have been closed. With that still don't understand why no lead rope was not used incased that shit swings out too.
